Breast Lift

Breast lift is a surgical procedure that lifts the breast tissue and repositions the nipple to its proper place (to the level of the breast fold). Depending on the amount of repositioning required, Dr. Jugenburg may leave a scar only around the nipple areola, or may extend it down in a straight line. Sometimes, breast lifts are combined with breast implants. This is usually done to significantly deflated breast such as those found in patients who lost a large amount of weight or who lost a lot of breast tissue after breast feeding.
